Blackpool is the meeting place for Veterans from all over the UK. Events throughout the week are designed to entertain and educate young and old and bring together

Aero GP - Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th June
Blackpool will host the UK’s first ever aerial grand prix during National Veterans’ Week.
The race will see eight planes simultaneously flying at more than 300mph, just yards above sea level around a marked course.
The international pilots, drawn from the military and commercial flying, will navigate eight laps of a 1.5km-long oval course, built around four pylons rising out of the sea. During the race, they will experience forces of up to 10G – almost three times that felt on Blackpool’s Pepsi Max Big One – the tallest rollercoa5ster in the country.
